Creating Change
Hong Kong-Mainland Creative Learning Cultural Exchange

Over five days, participants engaged in a variety of activities, including classroom observations, knowledge-sharing sessions, museum visits, and participation in the Knowledge Exchange forum. The forum featured keynote presentations, panel discussions, and live creative classroom experiences. Educators from Hong Kong and Mainland China exchanged ideas and learning in an interactive workshop, fostering sustainable development in teaching and learning for participants from different cities.
This exchange has given me the chance to experience Hong Kong’s student-centered approach to arts education, which fosters creativity and artistic perception through cross-curriculum, immersive teaching methods. It has provided me with truly valuable insights into Hong Kong’s advanced perspectives and practices in the arts.

This exchange not only broadened my artistic horizons but also provided practical teaching tools that deepened my appreciation of the arts. I will integrate what I have learnt into my daily teaching and continue to explore arts education with these insights.
